Key Responsibilities
In this key operational role, you will be responsible for the seamless flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from receiving to shipping. Your duties will include:
- Receiving and verifying shipments, meticulously checking for accuracy and damage.
- Stocking merchandise in an orderly fashion and maintaining a tidy, safe, and productive warehouse.
- Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for timely, damage-free shipment.
- Operating warehouse equipment to move stock and manage inventory effectively.
- Providing excellent customer service at the counter, greeting customers, and preparing their orders.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve warehouse productivity and organization.
Qualifications
We are looking for a communicative and self-motivated individual with the following attributes:
- A positive, professional attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to self-improvement.
- The physical ability to handle items under 50lbs.
- Good PC skills, including familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A valid forklift certificate is a strong asset; however, we are committed to training the right candidate.
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role is beneficial.
