Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you’ll be essential to delivering projects our clients love. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard, including sanding, stripping, filling, plastering, sealing, and taping.
- Skillfully applying primers, paints, stains, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Ensuring every project meets our high-quality benchmarks, with a keen eye for clean lines and detail.
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient worksite, following all necessary health and safety guidelines.
- Communicating clearly and respectfully with clients, team members, and other trades on-site.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable professional who aligns with our way of working. The ideal candidate will have:
- A solid track record with at least two years of professional painting and decorating experience.
- A natural eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering quality work.
- The ability to work confidently on your own initiative as well as collaboratively within our supportive team.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused manner.
- Good physical fitness and comfort working at heights when required for the job.
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to various job sites.
