Key Responsibilities

In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and management of concrete to construction sites. Your duties will include:

  • Safely operating a modern, automatic Isuzu agitator truck to deliver concrete as per daily schedules.
  • Utilising the advanced in-transit concrete management system to monitor and maintain the specified slump and quality of the load.
  • Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Interacting professionally with site personnel, clients, and batch plant operators.
  • Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations, site-specific rules, and traffic laws.
  • Completing all required delivery documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining the truck in a clean and tidy condition.

Qualifications

To be successful in this hands-on role, you will need:

  • A current, valid HR class driver’s licence with a safe driving history.
  • A Construction Induction Card (White-Blue Card).
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and a high standard of personal and professional ethics.
  • Good communication and literacy skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
  • A willingness to work Monday through Saturday as required.

Previous agitator driving experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Some basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
