About the Role

This is an as-needed, part-time position requiring availability during evenings and/or weekends, following parish and school events. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and preparation of our facilities, ensuring they are returned to an immaculate condition. The role may also include seasonal tasks like snow removal, contributing to the safety of our grounds.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your work supports the community by providing a well-kept environment for worship, education, and gathering.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the parish and school facilities after events, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces, and vacuum carpets as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all restroom fixtures and replenish supplies.
• Dust all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; clean glass doors and windows.
• Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Assist with snow and ice removal from walkways, steps, and entrances during winter months to ensure safety.
• Conduct a final walk-through to ensure the facilities are left in a clean, orderly, and secure state.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate parish staff.
