Key Responsibilities
Your day will be centered on precision and quality. Your core duties will include:
- Performing specialized MIG and Stick welding on a variety of materials, strictly adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Accurately interpreting blueprints, 2D drawings, and technical specifications to plan and execute clean, repeatable welds.
- Setting up, verifying fit-up, and conducting thorough inspections of your own finished welds against project requirements.
- Operating, maintaining, and performing basic troubleshooting on welding equipment to ensure continuous workflow.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe workstation in accordance with all shop safety guidelines.
- Engaging in ongoing skill development to enhance your welding capabilities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a skilled professional who possesses:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; professional welding certifications are a strong asset.
- Proven, hands-on experience in fabrication welding using multiple processes (MIG, Stick).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, 2D drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a personal commitment to producing top-tier workmanship.
- A problem-solving attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong working knowledge of welding safety regulations and best practices.
