Key Responsibilities

As an E-Tech, you are the guardian of our electronic equipment’s integrity on site. Your primary duties will focus on:

  • Performing systematic preventative maintenance and timely repairs on all electronic instrumentation and field equipment.
  • Ensuring proper start-up of all software systems and verifying communications across all equipment.
  • Conducting continuous visual inspections of cables and equipment operation by actively walking the site.
  • Maintaining constant communication with the frac supervisor regarding equipment status and any deficiencies.
  • Strictly adhering to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all other safety procedures during repairs and maintenance.
  • Verifying proper equipment shutdown at the end of operations and assisting with site housekeeping.
  • Remaining attentive and stationed with the equipment throughout operations to ensure immediate response to any issues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive, safety-minded technician with a solid foundational knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A verifiable electronics background from military training, a vocational/technical school, or direct oilfield experience.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as a crucial member of a close-knit field team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and act quickly under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a steadfast commitment to safety.
  • The physical capability to work outdoors in all conditions, performing frequent bending, lifting, climbing, and other manual tasks.
