Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you’ll balance driving duties with warehouse operations:

• Safely operate Class 1A vehicles for local deliveries of chemicals, fertilizer, and seed products
• Manage direct-to-farm deliveries with professional customer service and clear communication
• Perform warehouse functions including receiving, storing, and preparing orders for shipment
• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks following safety protocols
• Complete all required documentation for shipments, deliveries, and returns accurately
• Conduct regular vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance checks
• Coordinate delivery schedules and maintain positive relationships with farming customers
• Participate in safety audits and adhere to all transportation and warehouse regulations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings a strong safety record and relevant experience:

• Current Class 1A license with a clean driving history
• Minimum 6 years of delivery and distribution experience, including final-mile customer deliveries
• TDG and WHMIS certification or ability to obtain quickly
• Proven warehouse operations experience and equipment certification
• Clean DOT drug-alcohol test and physical examination results
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work occasional weekend shifts during busy seasons
• Strong customer service attitude and professional communication skills
