Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and punctual transportation of students each school day.

• Safely operate a school van to transport students along established routes to and from school.
• Serve as a reliable substitute driver, filling in on van routes as needed for call-ins, sick days, and other absences.
• Maintain a calm, professional, and courteous demeanor with students, school staff, and parents.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and follow Lamers Bus Lines’ specific safety policies and procedures.
• Complete any required pre-trip vehicle checks and basic documentation.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 4 years of general driving experience with any type of vehicle.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check is mandatory.
• A patient, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude is essential.
• No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for this van driving position.
