Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on production role, you will be involved in various tasks essential to our packaging operations. Your main duties will include:
- Operating woodworking machines to accurately cut lumber and plywood according to specifications for custom packaging cases.
- Assembling packaging components using power tools, nails, and other fasteners to build sturdy transport cases.
- Performing repairs on existing transport cases, which involves cutting and assembling replacement panels and aluminum extrusions.
- Managing basic inventory tasks to track materials and finished products within the warehouse.
- Safely loading and unloading materials and finished goods using a forklift (training can be provided).
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable candidate who meets the following criteria:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a factory, warehouse, assembly, or a similar hands-on role.
- Language proficiency: Must be either a native Japanese speaker or possess basic conversational English skills.
- Eligibility to work in Japan is mandatory. Only holders of “Permanent Resident,” “Long-Term Resident,” “Spouse” visas, or other valid work permission are eligible to apply.
- A final academic degree at the Bachelor’s level is listed as a requirement.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures are essential.
