Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Baker, you will be integral to our daily bakery operations and quality output. Your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting the Head Baker in all aspects of bakery production to fulfill daily orders for hotel restaurants and the deli on time and to a consistent high standard.
  • Preparing and producing a variety of Western-style breads, viennoiserie, and pastries according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Contributing to product development by sharing creative ideas and helping to craft new baked items for our menus.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Supporting inventory management, receiving goods, and other general bakery tasks as required by the production schedule.
  • Communicating effectively with the Head Baker and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled and reliable baker who meets the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Western bread and pastry baking is essential.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production environment while meeting strict daily deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in every product.
  • A team-oriented mindset with excellent cooperation skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability for all scheduled shifts.
  • Conversational ability in both Japanese and English is highly advantageous for effective communication within our international team. Visa sponsorship is available if required.
