Casual Housekeeping-Laundry Wanted In Woodstock, NB Canada

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our renowned hospitality establishment in Oxford County, Ontario. You will handle the full cycle of laundering tasks: washing, pressing, folding, and finishing linens, uniforms, and guest garments. This is not an industrial production facility; it is a hospitality operation where quality, presentation, and attention to detail define the guest experience. If you take pride in behind-the-scenes work that directly shapes how guests feel about their stay, this role offers consistency, respect, and genuine room to grow.

Company Overview

We are a well-established hospitality property in Oxford County known for exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and a commitment to quality that extends to every corner of our operation. Our housekeeping and laundry teams are essential partners in delivering the experience our guests expect and return for.

Unlike high-volume commercial laundries, we focus on presentation, fabric care, and individualized attention. Our guests notice when linens are properly pressed, when their personal laundry is returned promptly, and when every towel on the rack is folded with consistency. We are looking for someone who shares that commitment to detail and takes pride in contributing to a seamless guest experience. If you are reliable, organized, and customer-focused, you will find a supportive team and opportunities to advance here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process guest laundry and valet requests with care, attention to fabric care labels, and timely delivery.
  • Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, steam presses, and hand irons safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect all finished articles for stains, damage, or residual moisture, ensuring only items meeting presentation standards proceed to distribution.
  • Fold and package linens neatly for storage and delivery to housekeeping carts and food and beverage outlets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of clean and soiled linens, communicating replenishment needs to supervisors.
  • Keep laundry work areas, equipment, and storage spaces clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Follow all chemical handling and infection control protocols, including proper use of PPE.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to special requests from guests, housekeeping, or restaurant teams.
  • Assist with monthly linen counts and par level management.
  • Support team members during peak periods and provide coverage for various shifts as needed.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, reaching, and lifting.
