Machinery Operator Wanted In New Zealand

Here is an opportunity for reliable and hardworking Labourers and Operators to join a growing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and working as part of a supportive crew, this could be the role for you. Casual and full-time roles are available, with competitive hourly rates of $27 to $30. You’ll be involved in moving materials, site preparation, assisting with pipe installation, and operating machinery. If you’re physically fit, have a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (or Restricted with ability to obtain Full), and are ready to work, we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Labourer, your tasks will include:

• Helping move, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment around site.
• Preparing work areas, including digging trenches, holes, and completing other earthworks as required.
• Assisting the team with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and related infrastructure.
• Supporting site set-up and pack-down, keeping work areas tidy and safe at all times.
• Operating work vehicles to transport materials between sites, as well as operating heavy duty machinery to complete tasks.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including correct PPE use and safe equipment handling.
• Working as part of a team, providing general support to tradespeople and supervisors.

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates will:

• Be physically fit and capable of manual labour (heavy lifting, digging, etc.).
• Be happy working outdoors in various conditions.
• Have reliable transport to get to site.
• Hold a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (or Restricted, with the ability to obtain Full).
• Preferred experience in operating machinery is a bonus, but not mandatory.
