Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
- Select and mix appropriate paint colors and materials to match specific aircraft specifications.
- Apply paint using various techniques including spraying, brushing, and rolling.
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed while working with paints and chemicals.
- Maintain and clean all painting equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Inspect and touch up painted surfaces to ensure a smooth and flawless finish.
- Follow company and industry standards and regulations for aircraft painting.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as aircraft technicians and engineers, to coordinate painting schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep detailed records of paint colors and materials used for each aircraft.
- Continuously monitor and report any issues or defects with painted surfaces.
- Keep up-to-date with new painting techniques and technologies in the aerospace industry.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and superiors.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Painter with strong knowledge of aircraft painting techniques.
