Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive fresh, high-quality linens that enhance their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Process linens, towels, and other items through washing, drying, and folding procedures, following established standards.
- Inspect, sort, and fold items with precision, ensuring each piece meets Cabot’s high-quality standards and is presented neatly.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and responsibly, including handling chemicals according to Workplace Hazardous Information System (WHMIS) guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized laundry area, keeping track of inventory and ensuring clean linens are readily available for housekeeping.
- Manage workload efficiently, completing tasks within specified timelines to support seamless resort operations.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping staff and other team members, communicating effectively to maintain a smooth flow of clean linens.
- Perform additional duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to thrive in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Information System (WHMIS).
- Previous hotel industry experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Requirements of the Role
- Background Check:Â Based on the nature of the business, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and every two years thereafter.
- Schedule:Â As a seasonal resort, you can anticipate a schedule that includes day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and/or lifting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and tolerate heat.
- Ability to exert up to 250 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or move objects.
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs and ramps on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work with and around chemicals safely, following product labels.
- This position requires constant focus with repetitive nature of work.
