Schedule and Pay
- Shift:Â 1st Shift (Monday through Thursday only)
- Hours:Â Choose between 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Work Week:Â 4 days on, 3 days off every week
- Pay:Â Starting at $21.25 to $21.85 per hour

This schedule includes three paid breaks during your ten-hour shift, plus a 30-minute lunch. You’ll have your Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays free every week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding in a fast-paced production environment, working with materials from 12 gauge to .179″ brackets and tubing.
- Weld multiple attachments according to blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Pass ASME Certification requirements, including a 6″ vertical down weld with full penetration on .094 material with a .052″ gap.
- Ensure all welds are free from defects such as porosity, undercut, or concavity, and meet both code and cosmetic standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections of your own work and the work of junior employees as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform repairs, modifications, and retrofits on production items as required.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, encouraging co-workers to do the same.
- Assist in training junior employees and inspecting their work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Sign off on completed work orders and verify the quality of finished products.
- Actively participate in developing a LEAN manufacturing culture.
- Operate various welding and non-welding equipment as assigned to meet customer demand.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required:
- Relevant experience in MIG welding within the last 2 years.
- Must be a competent MIG welder and pass a weld test to advance in the hiring process.
- Most positions require passing ASME Certification with a 6″ vertical down weld on .094 material.
- Machine welding experience does not apply—this is hands-on MIG welding.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to report to work each day for your scheduled shift.
Preferred:
- Experience in a production-style manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
