We have manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and Nisku, and we’re hiring for various shifts to keep up with demand. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating metal working machinery: You’ll use equipment like brakes, shears, saws, and punches to manipulate sheet metal and fabricate piece parts.
  • Fabricating from schematics: Under the guidance of a Team Lead or Supervisor, you’ll produce parts according to specifications.
  • Assembling final products: Once parts are fabricated, you’ll assemble them into finished products ready for delivery.
  • Reading blueprints and programming equipment: You’ll need to understand schematics and set up machining equipment to produce the required parts accurately.
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment: You’ll check machinery regularly to make sure it’s in good working order, and report any issues to leadership.
  • Keeping the workspace clean: At the end of each shift, you’ll organize and clean your department—a tidy shop is a safe shop.
  • Moving materials if trained: You may be asked to operate forklifts or overhead cranes if you’ve got the training and authorization.
  • Following safety protocols: You’ll adhere to all safety standards from Silent-Aire and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety—every day, without exception.
  • Assisting tradespeople and leadership: You’ll help out where needed to keep projects moving forward safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent education. Additional education or an apprenticeship in metal working is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with safe practices and processes in a manufacturing environment, from raw materials to finished product.
  • Good English communication skills you need to understand instructions and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
  • Comfort with manual dexterity and long periods of standing this is physical work.
  • Your own vehicle or reliable transportation there’s no public transport close to our facilities, so you need to get yourself here.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • The ability to work various shifts depending on what’s available:
  • Rotating Day Shift (continental, 6 am – 6 pm)
  • Monday to Thursday Nightshift (6 pm – 5:30 am)
