What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating machinery:Â You’ll run equipment according to safety and production standards, making sure everything stays on track.
- Moving products and materials:Â You’ll manually move items as needed, keeping production areas supplied and finished goods ready for transport.
- Transporting finished goods:Â You’ll move completed products to designated areas for shipping or storage.
- Reviewing shipping slips:Â You’ll check paperwork for accuracy, making sure the right products go to the right places.
- Following safety guidelines: You’ll adhere to company procedures and safety standards at all times—no shortcuts.
- Keeping the workspace clean:Â You’ll maintain cleanliness and organization in your area, because a tidy shop is a safe shop.
- Supporting the team:Â You’ll help out where needed to keep production flowing and support your coworkers.
What You’ll Need
- Eligibility to reside and work in Canada this is essential.
- High School Diploma or OSSD Equivalency required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production you need to know your way around a shop floor.
- Experience working shift schedules is an asset if you’ve done shifts before, mention it.
- Strong attention to detail you need to stay focused and catch mistakes before they become problems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly as part of the job.
- Willingness to learn and be an active team player we need people who show up ready to work and help out.
- Must pass a criminal background check this is part of the hiring process.
