Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain Valid CDL and Medical Certificates:Â Keep your commercial driver’s license and all required medical certificates up to date.
- Obey All Regulations:Â Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and remain free of any health issues or substances that would impair your ability to drive safely.
- Be a Positive Representative:Â As a representative of our company, you must be safe and courteous when driving company vehicles and interacting with customers.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service:Â Ensure all customer interactions are courteous and professional. You’re the face of our company on site.
- Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections:Â Inspect your vehicle at the start and end of each shift, completing paperwork to notify mechanics of any issues.
- Work Independently or as a Team:Â Ability to work at a steady pace, whether on your own or as part of a team.
- Communicate Effectively:Â Proper verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Read and Follow Instructions: Ability to read and follow instructions in all forms—verbal, written, and maps.
- Maintain Vehicle Appearance:Â Keep your assigned vehicle tidy, washed, and free of debris and garbage, both interior and exterior.
- Attention to Detail:Â Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and legible manner, paying close attention to details.
