Roll-Off Drivers Needed In Taiwan

Tiger Sanitation is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to join our operations team in San Antonio. You’ll be responsible for distributing, collecting, and emptying commercial waste receptacles for our customers, following daily route sheets and communicating closely with dispatch. Essential Functions

  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Document inspections of company vehicles before and after each shift, ensuring everything is safe and road-ready.
  • Collect and Distribute Commercial Waste Receptacles: Follow your daily route sheet to service new, current, and former customers, distributing and emptying receptacles as needed.
  • Communicate Route Changes to Dispatch: Actively communicate any changes to your daily route sheet so dispatch stays informed.
  • Report Incidents Immediately: Notify your supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that occur while on route.
  • Review and Complete Daily Work Orders: Ensure all work orders are reviewed and completed accurately.
  • Complete Route Sheet and VCR: Ensure accurate completion of your route sheet and Vehicle Condition Report by the end of each day.
  • Navigate Tight Spaces Proficiently: Ability to navigate driveways, alleyways, empty lots, and high-traffic roadways in forward and reverse motion, including areas with limited overhead and compact spaces.
  • Operate in Compliance with Regulations: Operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Proficient with Manual Transmission: Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Be ready to help out where needed.

Requirements

  • Safely Operate a DOT Vehicle: You must have the ability to safely operate a DOT-regulated vehicle.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Reverse Operation Proficiency: Ability to proficiently operate a DOT vehicle in reverse motion.
  • Represent Tiger Sanitation: Convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for customers, employees, and the community through your professionalism.

Education and Experience

  • Valid Class A or B Driver’s License: Required.
  • Experience: 2 years of professional commercial roll-off driving experience.
