Key Responsibilities
- Operate Articulated Haul Trucks efficiently and safely, holding current VOC and SOA tickets for Moxy operations.
- Assist tradespeople and contractors with daily site operations, supporting the team in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform manual tasks including site preparation, trenching, and material handling using hand tools and equipment.
- Follow Workplace Health and Safety protocols and actively participate in toolbox talks to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Support the team with a positive, team focused attitude and strong work ethic.
Qualifications
A minimum of two years of experience as a skilled labourer in construction or a similar setting is required. Candidates must hold a current White Card, driver’s licence, and have reliable transport. SOA and VOC certification for at least one piece of equipment, specifically Articulated Haul Trucks, is required. Proficiency with hand and power tools and a willingness to work on the ground are essential. Strong physical stamina and a commitment to safe work practices are required. A team focused attitude and strong work ethic are essential. SOA and VOC for multiple plant items such as dumper, roller, or additional tickets for excavator are desirable. An HR or MR truck licence is desirable. Demonstrated experience in civil stormwater or pipework projects is desirable.
