Key Responsibilities
- Complete missions assigned by engineers or section heads using equipment manuals and technical knowledge to reduce machine downtime rates and achieve company targets.
- Upgrade machine efficiency to meet output schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
- Contribute to cost saving initiatives while ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to safety protocols in all maintenance activities.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor packaging and testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance for continuous improvement tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support overall manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
A technical diploma or degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred. Zero to three years of experience in the semiconductor field is preferred, though candidates with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn will be considered. Familiarity with semiconductor packaging and testing equipment is an advantage. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail are essential. The ability to work collaboratively with engineers and production teams is important. A commitment to safety and quality is required.
