Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service both inside the sales office and out in the yard, assisting customers with product selection, loading, and general inquiries.
- Operate Class 1 and Class 2 trucks to deliver products safely and efficiently to customer sites, representing the company with professionalism and care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized yard, ensuring products are stored correctly and hazards are addressed promptly.
- Assist with receiving and checking incoming product orders, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
- Load customer vehicles, trailers, and trucks with purchased materials, using care to avoid damage and ensure safe transport.
- Support the branch team with general duties as needed, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
A current Class 1 driver’s licence is required; a Class 2 licence is an advantage. Experience in customer service, yard work, or driving roles is beneficial. Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks, including lifting and loading materials. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential. Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude are important.
