Key Responsibilities
As the face of our parts department, you’ll play a central role in our daily operations. Your core duties will include:
- Providing a warm welcome and professional assistance to every customer, whether over the phone or in person.
- Using your knowledge to identify customer needs and accurately locate parts and accessories using our systems.
- Processing sales transactions, handling special orders, and managing backorders with precision.
- Assisting with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing stock counts.
- Working closely with our service technicians to quickly retrieve the parts they need to complete repairs.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient parts counter and storage area.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to expedite orders when needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us. The ideal person will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for delivering great customer service.
- The ability to thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Basic computer proficiency; prior experience with automotive parts software is a plus, but we provide training.
- Previous experience in an automotive or parts role is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is most important.
