Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our workshop, your day will be dynamic and essential to our workflow. You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor and be responsible for:

• Safely loading and unloading materials, including plates and parts from processing tables.
• Preparing the machine for new jobs and performing clean-up and rework on parts as needed.
• Carefully packing, strapping, and preparing completed jobs for dispatch.
• Operating with a focus on quality, monitoring parts throughout the production process.
• Performing general welding tasks to secure plates to the table.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized workshop.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who brings the right attitude and physical capability to the team.

• A professional, positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and improve.
• An exceptional work ethic and the ability to succeed as part of a collaborative team.
• You must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour duties safely.
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and regular drug and alcohol screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

• A current OH and S Work Safety card (White Card).
• A valid forklift licence.
