Key Responsibilities
In this full-time role, you’ll be the vital connection for our customers across Auckland. Your day will involve:
- Planning and following efficient delivery routes within the Auckland region to ensure timely drop-offs.
- Carefully loading and unloading auto parts from our delivery vans, handling items with care to prevent damage.
- Managing all necessary delivery documentation and maintaining accurate records for each job.
- Interacting professionally and courteously with customers at each stop, building rapport and ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhering strictly to all relevant health and safety standards, as well as road transport regulations.
- Performing basic vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and personable individual with the following:
- A full, valid New Zealand driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- The ability to communicate effectively and build a positive rapport with people from all backgrounds.
- A strong sense of responsibility, excellent time management skills, and a self-motivated work ethic.
- An awareness of workplace health and safety practices, particularly relating to manual handling and transport.
- While 1-2 years of courier or delivery experience is beneficial, a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
