Key Responsibilities
Your specific duties will vary based on your role, but every position is crucial to our kitchen’s success:
For Chefs (Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Pizza Chef, Sushi Chef):
- Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, mastering your specific station or cuisine.
- Contribute to menu development, kitchen organization, and maintaining consistent quality.
- Work collaboratively within the brigade system, supporting team members and ensuring seamless service.
For Help Cook:
- Assist chefs with meal preparation, including prepping ingredients like chopping vegetables and preparing proteins.
- Maintain an orderly kitchen, manage food storage, and ensure compliance with HACCP and safety regulations.
- Perform cleaning duties and dishwashing to support the overall flow of the kitchen.
For Dishwasher:
- Efficiently wash all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards of hygiene.
- Perform general cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed during peak service times.
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individuals who are ready for a new adventure. The essentials for all roles include:
- Legal authorization to work in the EU (valid EU documents are required).
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A team-oriented attitude and the motivation to deliver excellent service.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and a full-time schedule.
- For specialized chef roles: Proven experience in the same or a similar position.
- For Help Cook/Dishwasher roles: A willingness to learn quickly and a strong work ethic. Prior experience is beneficial but not always mandatory.
Benefits and Perks
We support our international team with a comprehensive package designed for a smooth start in the Netherlands:
- Earn a monthly salary between €1,800 – €2,300 for chef roles and €1,800 – €2,000 for support roles, based on experience.
- We provide housing, which is mostly free or subsidized (up to €400 per month).
- Secure a 38-hour full-time work contract under Dutch law, with the possibility of additional hours.
- We assist with obtaining your BSN (Dutch citizen service number) and all necessary legal work permits.
- Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, offering stability and growth within the Dutch hospitality industry.
- Work and learn alongside a diverse, multicultural team.
