Your Role on the Production Line

As a vital member of our production team, you will ensure the efficient and sanitary operation of our manufacturing line. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on high-speed filling or packaging machinery.
Processing, inspecting, and preparing finalized products to ensure they meet strict quality specifications.
Conducting thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and sterilization of all production equipment according to rigorous food safety protocols.
Maintaining accurate daily production logs and reports for your supervisor.
Managing an inventory of raw materials and necessary spare parts for your assigned equipment.
Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and assisting with resolutions under your supervisor’s direction.
Strictly adhering to all company policies, Food Safety (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and occupational safety guidelines.
Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.

The Skills and Experience You Need

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a machine operator in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry.
Specific experience in either filling (for 1st shift) or packaging (for 2nd shift) operations is a significant advantage.
A High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude with basic skills to operate and perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment.
The physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb as needed, and stand for extended periods.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays (typically 5 days per week, Sunday off).
Basic computer literacy for data entry and report creation.

Preferred Knowledge:

Familiarity with Food Science technology, HACCP, and GMP guidelines is beneficial.
