Key Responsibilities
You will be an essential part of the production line, ensuring the smooth operation and quality of our pet food products. Your core duties will include:
- Operating various types of industrial machinery and production line equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performing manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving raw materials and finished products (up to 20kg).
- Maintaining a high level of concentration to monitor production quality and adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards.
- Following detailed procedures for food handling and processing, ensuring all products meet quality specifications.
- Assisting with general cleaning and sanitation of the work area and equipment to maintain excellent hygiene standards.
- Working collaboratively with your team to meet daily production targets and support a positive, efficient workflow.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and the physical capability to thrive in a manufacturing environment. The ideal fit will have:
- A proven track record of reliability, dedication, and a commitment to seeking long-term, stable employment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for the full shift, perform repetitive tasks, and safely lift weights up to 20kg.
- A high level of focus and a conscientious attitude towards quality, safety, and productivity in all tasks.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety (OH&S) and safe manual handling practices.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm, with a willingness to be trained across different areas of the factory.
- The ability to work with meat-based products in a food manufacturing setting. Prior experience operating industrial machinery is highly regarded.
