Key Responsibilities

As the owner of this Christchurch run, your success will depend on your ability to manage the following:

Ensuring the safe, secure, and timely pick-up and delivery of parcels across your designated route.
Providing outstanding, friendly customer service that maintains and enhances the run’s excellent reputation.
Efficiently managing your time and prioritizing tasks to meet all service deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Maintaining a professional image and effective communication with customers and the wider NZ Couriers team.
Handling the daily operational aspects of your business.

Qualifications

We are seeking a business-minded individual with the right attitude and foundation. The ideal candidate will possess :

A clean, valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
A positive attitude, reliability, honesty, and a strong commitment to customer service.
A mature and responsible work ethic with great attention to detail.
Good geographic knowledge of the Christchurch area.
The ability to pass necessary security checks.

Additionally, for this specific role, you must have:

The financial capacity to finance your own late-model van (electric preferred) and equipment, including a scanner.
Permanent Residence in New Zealand is a mandatory requirement.
The resilience and start-up capital to support yourself in business as you build your client base.
