Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee, you will receive hands-on training while performing essential tasks that keep our business moving. Your key duties will include:
- Safely loading, transporting, and installing cabins to customer sites across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region.
- Assisting with the maintenance, repair, and preparation of cabins in our Tokoroa yard.
- Conducting basic pre-delivery checks and helping to maintain the delivery vehicle and equipment.
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers on-site during deliveries and installations.
- Following instructions closely from experienced team members and adhering to all safety procedures.
- Reporting any delivery issues, customer feedback, or maintenance requirements to the management team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. The ideal applicant will have:
- A valid, clean New Zealand driver’s licence, with some experience driving and towing larger vehicles (e.g., utes with trailers).
- A practical mindset with basic handyman or mechanical skills.
- A strong focus on safety and a reliable, conscientious work ethic.
- Good physical fitness for tasks involving lifting, carrying, and working outdoors.
- Excellent customer service skills and clear communication.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team under guidance.
