Key Responsibilities
As our Maintenance Technician, you will be the go-to person for keeping our operations running smoothly. Your core duties will involve:
- Assisting the repair and maintenance team to ensure all facilities across assigned branches (SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, SM Sta. Mesa, SM MOA) and the Head Office are safe, clean, and operational.
- Performing a variety of repair tasks, including fixing cabinets, doors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Applying basic carpentry skills and plumbing knowledge to handle tasks like de-clogging drains and repairing leaks.
- Conducting routine inspections of electrical control panels and wiring, identifying issues that need urgent attention.
- Cleaning air conditioning units and cooling equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Managing the inventory of maintenance supplies and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with practical skills and a flexible, hardworking attitude. The requirements are:
- At least 1 year of work-related experience, preferably in building or facility maintenance.
- At least a High School graduate or holder of a vocational certificate in building maintenance, electrical technology, or a similar field.
- Must be amenable to travel to different store branches within Quezon City and Manila for repairs.
- Solid basic knowledge in construction works, repair, and maintenance.
- Must be willing to work 6 days a week with 1 day off, on a rotating shift schedule (morning, night, graveyard), and render overtime when needed (with pay).
