Key Responsibilities

You will be a key member of our close-knit blood collection team, with duties including:

  • Performing and supervising blood collection for both Whole Blood and Apheresis donation programmes.
  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to blood donors before, during, and after donation.
  • Executing skilled donor phlebotomy with a focus on donor comfort and safety.
  • Assisting in the management of any donor reactions or complications according to established protocols.
  • Working collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations at our blood banks.

Qualifications

To be part of this essential team, you will need:

  • A minimum Diploma in Nursing and a valid registration certificate with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Relevant work experience in a recognised healthcare setting is preferred; however, newly qualified candidates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or other post-registration qualifications may be considered for senior positions.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, service-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a 5-day week across morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts (no night shifts required).
