About the Role
This position is central to upholding our high standards of hygiene and presentation during the overnight shift. While our guests rest, you will be the key person ensuring all public facilities are impeccably maintained, sanitised, and fully stocked for the coming day. Your work directly contributes to a positive first impression and a comfortable, safe environment for everyone on the property.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your focus will be on a thorough and systematic approach to cleaning and maintenance. Key duties include:
- Ensuring all public restrooms and toilets are cleaned, sanitised, and fully stocked with amenities (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) throughout your shift.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all lobby area surfaces, including walls, floors, doors, and table tops.
- Regularly emptying and clearing all trash and recycling bins in public areas.
- Inspecting furniture and equipment for serviceability, reporting any defects, damage, or maintenance needs immediately to your supervisor.
- Following strict procedures for the handling, logging, and storage of any lost and found items.
- Completing any additional deep-cleaning projects or assignments as directed by management.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent overnight role.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen attention to detail are essential.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- A starting wage of $28.91 per hour.
- Integrity and honesty, particularly when handling lost property.
- Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
- Availability for the scheduled overnight shift: 6 days per week (rotating off day) from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
