Your Role And Responsibilities Across the Seasons
This is a full-time, permanent role with varied responsibilities across the year to provide consistent work.
Lawn Care Season (Jan–Nov):
- Perform lawn applications using government-approved fertilizer and weed control products, Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 4:00 pm).
- Provide friendly, expert customer service and offer recommendations to improve lawn health.
- Help grow the business by introducing our services to neighbours after each application.
- Maintain your assigned truck and equipment, complete paperwork accurately, and uphold a professional appearance.
- Saturdays are required during peak months (May, June, September, October).
Marketing Season (Nov–Jan):
- Transition to our Marketing and Promotions team, working Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm).
- Engage with homeowners in neighbourhoods to generate leads—no selling involved, simply introducing our services and offering a free quote.
- This seasonal shift ensures year-round employment and introduces you to another side of our business.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for motivated individuals with a great attitude. The qualifications we need are:
- A valid British Columbia Class 5, 7, or N Driver’s Licence in good standing.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to frequently lift 40-50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Availability to work Saturdays during the core spring and fall seasons (May, June, Sept, Oct).
This role is an excellent fit for those with interest or background in landscaping, horticulture, customer service, general labour, sales, or marketing.
