Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of your assigned area, ensuring a positive environment for clients and occupants. Your tasks will include:
- Performing general cleaning duties such as dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising restrooms and replenishing supplies.
- Cleaning interior glass partitions, windows, and mirrors.
- Gathering and emptying all trash and recycling receptacles.
- Wiping down and sanitising tabletops, chairs, and surfaces in food service areas.
- Safely moving light furniture or equipment to clean behind and underneath.
- Performing incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, light snow removal, or raking leaves.
- Following all safety procedures for chemical use and equipment operation.
What You Need to Succeed
We believe in potential and a strong work ethic. The qualifications for this role are straightforward:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No experience, high school diploma, or GED is required. We provide paid training.
- A reliable, positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Customer service experience or 1 year of similar work is a plus, but not mandatory.
