Key Responsibilities
As a crucial link in the travel chain, your day will be active and impactful. Your key duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently loading and unloading passenger baggage and cargo from aircraft.
- Competently operating essential ground service equipment like tugs and belt loaders.
- Working collaboratively with a close-knit team to meet tight flight turnaround times.
- Accurately completing all required documentation and strictly following all aviation safety and security protocols.
- Maintaining a vigilant and professional standard while working in the live airside environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for physically capable and safety-conscious individuals who meet the following criteria:
- A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 Driver’s Licence and reliable own transport are essential.
- At least one year of experience in a warehousing, labouring, or other physically demanding role.
- The ability to comfortably and safely repetitively lift items up to 32kg.
- Availability to work a rotating roster covering AM, PM, and Night shifts (typically 4 days on, 2 days off).
- The legal right to work in New Zealand without any restrictions.
- A quick-thinking mindset with sound judgement and the resilience to work in all weather conditions.
