Key Responsibilities
Working within our Bio-Medical Operations department, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability of our medical technology. Your primary duties will include:
- Repairing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide variety of basic clinical equipment and instruments under supervision.
- Performing inspections, installations, and preventive maintenance on general clinical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assisting in the coordination of service contracts to facilitate prompt repairs for contracted equipment.
- Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through ongoing education on all equipment under service plans.
- Accurately documenting all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with department protocols.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a blend of education and hands-on experience. The requirements are:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in biomedical equipment repair or a directly related field.
- A strong foundational understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- An Associate’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Technology, or a related field.
- One (1) year of biomedical experience within an acute care hospital environment.
