Elite Island Services is the premier cleaning and valet specialist on Hamilton Island, Queensland. We care for approximately 80 privately owned, self-contained holiday properties, maintaining the highest standards that match the island’s world-class reputation. Our team is more than just colleagues; we’re a close-knit, energetic community that works hard, supports each other, and fully embraces the incredible island lifestyle in our downtime.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the daily cleaning and presentation of our luxury guest accommodations. Your key duties will include:
- Performing thorough cleaning of self-contained apartments to meet our exacting company standards, ensuring every property is guest-ready.
- Paying meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, from sanitising bathrooms to perfecting bed presentation and maintaining pristine living areas.
- Managing your time and workload effectively during busy periods to complete all assigned properties to standard.
- Working collaboratively within our team while also being capable and reliable when working independently on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who embody the island spirit and professionalism:
- A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing workloads.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail where presentation is everything.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A valid open driver’s licence (Queensland road rules apply).
- Previous professional housekeeping or cleaning experience.
- Availability for a minimum 6-month commitment.
