Key Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver, you will be entrusted with the safe operation of our commercial vehicles and the secure transportation of our products. Your core duties will include:
- Safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to their designated locations according to schedule.
- Carefully loading and unloading cargo, ensuring all items are properly secured and placed to prevent damage during transit.
- Strictly adhering to all federal and state traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintaining accurate, detailed, and timely logs of deliveries, hours of service, and vehicle inspections as required by law.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and report any issues promptly.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe and proper working order.
Qualifications
We are looking for qualified drivers who meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B is a mandatory requirement.
- A clean driving record, demonstrating a strong history of safe vehicle operation.
- For entry-level roles, a proven track record as a commercial driver is preferred but not always required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills.
- The ability to manage delivery schedules and paperwork accurately.
