Key Responsibilities
You will be essential to our first impression, ensuring every guest arrives to a pristine facility. Your core duties will include:
- Performing thorough morning cleaning across the facility (pools, changing rooms, communal areas, etc.) before public opening.
- Taking a “customer’s eye view” to ensure the entire operation is presented in excellent condition.
- Working efficiently, either independently or with a partner, to complete all tasks within the scheduled hours.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation in all areas.
- Communicating effectively with the operations team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with:
- A great attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.
- The ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of tasks.
- A genuine passion for cleaning to a high standard.
- Good communication skills and a reasonable level of physical fitness.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Must be willing and able to live in or relocate to Lake Tekapo.
Hours and Structure:
- Two roles available to cover a 7-day week.
- Approximately 5 hours per morning, or can be split into two 2.5-hour shifts for a pair.
