 Key Responsibilities

You will be essential to our sanitation and operational efficiency, ensuring our facility meets strict food safety standards.

• Perform thorough cleaning of packaging and process building floors, equipment, and structural parts (walls, ceilings, drains) using specific wet/dry procedures.
• Remove dust from process areas and clean both food-contact and non-food-contact equipment.
• Handle scrap sugar, including lifting/cutting bags (up to 20kg) and maneuvering large buggies using powered hand trucks.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor washers and mop large floor areas.
• Strictly follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records and report any unsanitary practices to your Supervisor.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable individuals who can work safely in an industrial environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow simple instructions, perform routine varied tasks, and operate basic machinery (packaging equipment, powered hand trucks).
• One year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong asset.
• Understanding of WHMIS and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time, permanently in Canada (no immigration sponsorship provided).
