Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial sites.

  • Perform comprehensive vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of hard floors and carpets in all work areas.
  • Dust, polish, and clean all furniture, fittings, windowsills, and fixtures to a high standard.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchen/tea room areas, including all fixtures, and replenish supplies like soap and paper towels.
  • Empty all bins and waste containers, ensuring proper disposal and replacement of liners.
  • Perform detail cleaning tasks such as removing cobwebs, dusting high and low areas, and using appropriate solutions to treat stains and marks on surfaces.
  • Follow all safety procedures for chemical use and equipment operation, and report any maintenance issues or hazards.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are dependable and take initiative.

  • Must have either a Level 2 Cleaning qualification or at least one year of relevant commercial cleaning experience.
  • A strong, consistent work ethic, reliability, and excellent punctuality.
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Professional personal presentation and a respectful manner when on client premises.
  • Must be available and willing to work late-night shifts, as well as some weekends and public holidays as per the roster.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
