Key Responsibilities

You will act as the senior representative of the Principal, providing strategic oversight and hands-on management for a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects.

  • Provide high-level program and project management, procurement, and contract management for a range of advisory, design, and construction activities.
  • Act as the Principal’s Representative on complex design and construction contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with time, cost, quality, and scope targets.
  • Review and approve technical specifications, tender documents, and financial reports for complex, high-risk projects to ensure compliance, adequacy, and fitness for purpose.
  • Monitor and control all aspects of project delivery within your program, managing risks and stakeholder relationships at a strategic level.

Qualifications

This is a senior position requiring substantial, formally recognised experience.

  • Mandatory: A four-year engineering degree accredited by Engineers Australia OR a Diploma in Project Management plus 10+ years of relevant experience OR AIPM CPPD-CPPE certification with a relevant degree and 3+ years of experience OR significant demonstrable experience in project management.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or a related field within infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven expertise in managing the full project lifecycle for public sector civil infrastructure projects, including procurement and complex contract management.
  • Superior strategic, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
