 Key Responsibilities

As a key player in our kitchen, you’ll ensure every plate that leaves the pass is perfect. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking, and plating a wide variety of Denny’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner items according to our precise recipes and standards.
• Setting up your station with all necessary ingredients and equipment, ensuring everything is fresh, stocked, and ready for service.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized work area in full compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Working closely with servers and expediters to ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
• Monitoring food quality throughout your shift, performing quality checks, and rotating stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Handling and operating all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively and supporting fellow crew members during peak hours.
