Key Responsibilities
As the backbone of our local delivery operations, your day will be active and varied. Your core duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently loading and unloading parcels for your daily delivery and pick-up runs.
- Delivering and collecting freight across the Southland region, ensuring a professional and friendly service at every stop.
- Meticulously scanning all parcels at each stage of the process to maintain accurate tracking information.
- Checking consignments to verify correct packaging and addressing, helping to prevent delays.
- Managing your time effectively to complete all deliveries within scheduled timeframes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a responsible and reliable individual who embodies our commitment to excellent service. The successful candidate will have:
- A valid New Zealand driver’s licence is essential.
- A positive, professional attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and a presentable appearance for this customer-facing role.
- Availability to work full-time, five days a week.
- Full working rights in New Zealand and the ability to pass a current Police check.
While previous experience as a courier driver is advantageous, we provide comprehensive training and development for motivated individuals eager to start a new career.
