Your Daily Responsibilities
Your work will be essential to the health of our herd and the smooth running of our farm. Your key duties will include:
- Milking cows according to our established routines and protocols.
- Providing fresh bedding for the cattle to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Performing barn clean-up duties, including scraping alleys to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the animals.
- Assisting with general farm maintenance and basic equipment care.
- Feeding and providing water to the herd as needed.
- Observing cattle for any signs of illness or distress and reporting concerns promptly.
Who We’re Looking For
We value character and a strong work ethic as much as experience. The ideal candidate will be:
- Showing up on time with a positive, can-do attitude every day.
- Comfortable and patient around large animals.
- Willing and able to work early morning shifts and adapt to the variable schedule that farm life requires.
- Farm experience is a definite asset, but we are committed to training a motivated individual with the right attitude.
- Able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
Additional Details:
- Housing: On-farm housing is available for the right candidate.
- Hours: Full-time, with expected hours of 40-60 per week.
