Key Responsibilities

In this active delivery role, you will be responsible for more than just transport. Key duties include:

Safely operating a manual vehicle, often with a trailer attached, to deliver goods to various job sites.
Confidently manoeuvring and reversing vehicles with trailers into sometimes tight or complex site locations.
Performing physical tasks associated with deliveries, including loading, unloading, and moving products.
Adhering to all road safety rules and on-site health & safety protocols.
Maintaining clear communication with the dispatch team, site contacts, and your colleagues.
Completing delivery documentation accurately and performing basic vehicle checks.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:

A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 driver’s licence with no demerits or active tickets.
Proven ability to drive a manual vehicle and experience in driving and reversing with a trailer.
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour as part of the daily routine.
A strong team-player attitude with good communication skills and a solid safety mindset.
Must be available for ongoing full-time work starting in the New Year.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and provide a clean criminal record.
Must have your own reliable transport to get to and from work.
Ability to provide two contactable work-related references.
