Key Responsibilities
This is a physically active role where you’ll be the face of Earthcare on the road. Your key duties will include:
- Safely operating both manual and automatic transmission trucks on your daily routes.
- Performing essential pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital logs via Eroad systems.
- Using technology like tablets and mobile phones to manage routes and tasks efficiently.
- Getting hands-on with manual handling tasks as a core part of the service we provide.
- Strictly adhering to all health and safety standards to protect yourself, the public, and the environment.
- Maintaining a flexible approach to your schedule, including a minimum 50-hour week and working every second Saturday.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable, physically fit, and safety-conscious individual who meets these criteria:
- Proven driving experience in trucks or vans, with a Class 2 licence being a significant advantage.
- An honest, trustworthy nature and a willingness to learn; we provide full training for the right person.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a broader team.
- Must be physically fit and not afraid of hands-on work outside the vehicle.
- Experience with motorcycle or scooter riding is helpful, and a Class 6 learner or full licence is advantageous.
- Must be a New Zealand Citizen, Resident, or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa.
