Key Responsibilities
As the Salon Manager, you will be the heart of the grooming operation, responsible for both artistry and business. Your key duties include:
- Performing high-quality grooming services, including clipping and scissoring across all breeds, completing 6-8 grooms per day.
- Leading, training, and developing junior groomers and bathers within the salon.
- Managing all salon operations, including client consultations, quoting, bookings, invoicing, and inventory ordering.
- Ensuring the salon maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
- Driving salon performance and maximising revenue through effective management and our grooming incentive program.
- Upholding our mission of promoting pet health and wellbeing in every interaction.
Qualifications
To excel in this leadership role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional, hands-on pet grooming experience.
- Advanced ability to groom all breeds and coat types confidently and without supervision.
- Proven experience in salon operations, team management, and client service.
- A passion for mentoring others and developing talent.
- The willingness to complete a two-hour grooming trial as part of the recruitment process.
- Eligibility to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check.
