Key Responsibilities
You will be the face of Bidfood on the road, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle to complete delivery runs, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Providing exceptional customer service at every stop, building positive relationships with our clients.
- Accurately checking and handling invoices, managing basic stock control, and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Loading and unloading product with care, ensuring orders are correct and delivered in perfect condition.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and taking pride in the appearance and cleanliness of your vehicle.
- Working efficiently both as part of a team and independently, managing your daily run with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A current, clean Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence and proven driving experience.
- Excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Good reading, writing, and numeracy skills to understand invoices and complete necessary documentation.
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Physical fitness for handling stock and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- The right to work permanently in New Zealand.
